The 13/13 project

On December 12, 2012, many bloggers decided to post a series of twelve twelves to commemorate the date -- the last time in our century (and thus in most of our lifetimes) we would see a date like 01/01/01 or 11/11/11.

Uta and I have been exchanging photos for several years and decided we needed to extend the 12/12 project into 2013.  Our plan: thirteen times in 2013 we will each post thirteen thirteens.  Most of the thirteens must be in a single photo, but once per round we'll be allowed to do the thirteen in thirteen photos instead of in one photo.  As we noted when discussing the rules, "if we wanted to show thirteen men working in trees it would be hard to get them all into the same photo (or the same tree)."

We'll post every four weeks, every fourth Tuesday, ending up on New Year's Eve.
